Pearl Idea Co., Ltd. has joined the Tomoni Art Project (TAP), a disability independence support initiative promoted by Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank, Ltd., the Gifu Prefecture Educational Cultural Foundation, and the Rakusho Social Welfare Corporation. The company has launched its "Tomoni Wall Art" service, which decorates temporary construction site fencing with Tomoni Art.
Typically, we use "Tomoni Art" to add warmth and friendliness to otherwise sterile temporary fencing walls. This approach aims to create a lively atmosphere while heightening anticipation for new tenants opening their doors. This time, with the support of Gifu Take Co., Ltd., we adorned the temporary wall of "Comfort Life"—our new shop themed around "a place for adults, travel, and photography" opening at the Martha 21 shopping center in Masaki, Gifu Prefecture—with Tomoni wall art.
This service proposes decorations tailored to the requests of store owners. For each adopted work, we pay the artist a usage fee per work per year.
We will continue to promote the appeal of Tomon Art nationwide by proposing installations in stores, commercial facilities, and public spaces, thereby supporting the social participation of artists with disabilities.
